About this website and the photographer
Last Updated 19th February 2026
This website contains approximately 200 photographs of various aircraft types I have taken over the past 10 years or so; they are intended to represent my style of photography.  I have constructed this website primarily for my own satisfaction but I hope that anyone who lands on the website appreciates the photos.  Currently, my style is to create an photo that is more-or-less 'true to life' so I usually confine myself to corrective edits using the Adobe Creative Cloud version of Lightroom Classic / Photoshop.
Most of my photos have been taken at the following five locations - IWM Duxford in Cambridgeshire, RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire (during Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) events held in July each year), London Stansted Airport in Essex, London Heathrow Airport and Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent.  Infrequently, I also visit RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Coningsby and Manchester Airport.
I live in the county of Essex in the UK. I currently use two DSLR cameras: a Nikon D500 and a Nikon D780 together with a Nikon 200-500 f/5.6 lens and a Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 lens.  In addition, from January 2026 I have also been using a Nikon mirrorless camera  - a Z8 linked to a 180-600mm f/5.6 to f/6.3 lens.
Lots of knowledge and inspiration has been gained from my membership with the Centre of Aviation Photography (COAP) which was set-up in 2020/21 and is the world’s largest organisation dedicated to aviation photography. For anyone with an interest in aviation photography, I thoroughly recommend viewing their website at https://www.coaponline.com.
In addition to this website, I submit photos to the photographic library at Air Britain (ABPic - https://abpic.co.uk) and less frequently to Planespotters (https://www.planespotters.net) and JetPhotos (https://www.jetphotos.com).  I also regularly maintain a Flickr site containing over 2000 aviation photos,  The Photostream of my Flickr site can be viewed via the relevant button below.
I have been fortunate to have had four of the photos from this website selected for calendars - two were for the RIAT Calendars published for 2019 and 2020 (https://www.airtattoo.com) and two were for the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Club (BBMF) Calendars for 2024 and 2025 (https://www.memorialflightclub.com).
All photos are assembled in chronological order with the most recent photo placed first in any particular category.
