About This Website
This website contains around 125 photographs of various aircraft types I have taken over the past 10 years or so; they are intended to be 'the best of the best'.  I have constructed this website primarily for my own satisfaction but I hope that anyone who lands on the website appreciates the images.  Currently, my style is to create an image that is 'true to life' so I generally confine myself to corrective edits using The Adobe Creative Cloud version of Lightroom Classic / Photoshop.
Most of my images have been taken at the following four locations - IWM Duxford in Cambridgeshire, RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire (during Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) events held in July each year), London Stansted Airport in Essex and London Heathrow Airport.  Infrequently, I also visit RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Coningsby and Manchester Airport.
I live in the county of Essex in the UK and am in my early 60s. I currently use two DSLR cameras: a Nikon D500 and a Nikon D780 together with a Nikon 200-500 f5.6 lens and a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 lens.  I have yet to take the plunge into mirrorless camera technology.  Lots of knowledge and inspiration has been gained from my membership with the Centre of Aviation Photography (COAP) which was set-up in 2020/21 and is the world’s largest organisation dedicated to aviation photography. For anyone with an interest in aviation photography, I thoroughly recommend viewing their website at https://www.coaponline.com.
In addition to this website, I contribute images to the photographic library at Air Britain (ABPic - https://abpic.co.uk) and less so to Planespotters (https://www.planespotters.net) and JetPhotos (https://www.jetphotos.com).  I also regularly maintain a Flickr site containing nearly 2,000 images, mainly aircraft, but also a range of other subject areas.  My Flickr site can be viewed via the relevant button below.
I have been fortunate to have had four of the images from this website selected for calendars - two were for the RIAT Calendars published for 2019 and 2020 (https://www.airtattoo.com) and two were for the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Club (BBMF) Calendars for 2024 and 2025 (https://www.memorialflightclub.com).
All images are assembled in chronological order with the most recent image placed first in any particular category.  The website was last updated on 16th January 2025.
